Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Bluffton is seeking an organized Operating Room Technician to support perioperative teams in a fast-paced surgical environment. You will assist in patient positioning, prepping, draping, and equipment handling to ensure safe, efficient procedures.
In this role, you will support the OR with room turnover, supply restocking, specimen handling, and coordination with MDAs, RNs, and CRNAs. BLS is required before first shift, and Anesthesia Tech credentials are preferred.

**South of Broad Healthcare (SOBH) is expanding access to high-quality, community-based healthcare throughout southern Beaufort County and the surrounding Lowcountry. Grounded by a mission of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, SOBH supports strategic growth designed to bring essential healthcare services closer to the people and communities we serve. At the center of SOBH is Bluffton Community Hospital, a new 28 bed, full-service hospital. Approximately 90,000 square foot facility will include a 24/7 emergency department, an acute inpatient nursing unit, surgical and endoscopy suites, a cardiac catheterization lab, advanced imaging, laboratory services, and additional outpatient capabilities. The hospital is scheduled for completion in late 2026, with patient care anticipated to being early 2027.

Assists the perioperative care team in many aspects of patient care. Performs a variety of technical duties to assist in preparation of patient and surgical suite for procedures. Assists in patient positioning, transport, prepping and draping. Works with a variety of equipment and is responsible for retrieving, preparing and assisting in the use of equipment. Responds during emergency situations to assist as directed by the MDA, RN and CRNA present. Provides support for the Surgical Services department by turning over O.R. rooms, including but not limited to restocking supplies, cleaning, returning equipment and delivering specimens. Performs other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Assists with surgical procedures and provides support for routine and complex cases. Functions under the supervision of the MDAs, RNs, CRNAs, AAs, Surgeons and reports to the Director of Perioperative Services
