Qualifications

• Assists in surgical operations under supervision of surgeons and nurses.
• Complies with HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to scrub all types of cases and maintain sterile technique.
• Prepares instruments and supplies according to sterile technique.
• Supports OR setup and equipment readiness during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs in on cases and anticipates surgeon needs.
• Sets up instruments and ensures equipment functions properly.
• Maintains records of medications, specimens and implants.
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
