Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to support perioperative services in the operating room. Under supervision, you will assist physicians and nurses across procedures, ensure sterile technique, and help maintain room readiness and supply availability.

The role requires a high school diploma, certification as a Surgical Technologist, and a willingness to comply with hospital standards and infection control policies. BLS certification is also required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
• Two years previous experience as an operating room technician desired.
• Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon in scrubbed cases and prepare supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique according to policy.
• Ensure instrument processing from decontamination to sterilization.
• Ensure room is ready with supplies and equipment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
• Assist with patient care and flow.
• Adhere to safety, OSHA, and infection-control policies.
• Restock rooms to PAR levels.
• Attend department meetings and communicate with staff.
