METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER seeks a Surgical Technologist to perform duties in the operating room and help maintain OR efficiency. Responsibilities include patient care from neonate to geriatric, equipment orientation, and mentoring staff and students.

The role supports the system's mission with strong emphasis on patient-centered care, safety, and teamwork. Eligible for tuition reimbursement, certification incentives, and comprehensive health coverage.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds

Responsabilidades

• Performs various duties in the operating room.
• Maintains the cleanliness and efficiency of operating room services.
• Performs limited neonate through geriatric patient care services.
• Orients employees to equipment and procedures.
• Serves as a role model to other operating room technicians and students.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
