Job summary

The Surgical Technologist II WIP (operating room scrub technician) sets up sterile field, gathers supplies for surgical cases, based on knowledge of instruments and equipment to be used. This position passes instruments to surgeons during surgery.

This position also performs count procedures per policy during surgical cases. The Surgical Technologist II WIP serves as a resource and preceptor to less experienced Surgical Technologists and takes call for routine and high acuity cases after

Qualifications

• Licensure, Certification, or Registration requirements: Registered by the State Board of Medicine and CST/TS-Cert/CORST.
• Current CST; TS-Cert or CORST required for continued employment.
