Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring for an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) in the Newark, NJ area. The role requires ADN or higher nursing education, active RN license, and OR experience. ACLS/PALS and aseptic techniques are preferred.

The nurse will provide direct patient care, maintain a sterile OR, and monitor vitals throughout procedures. Shift options include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities. Benefits include 401K, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of OR/surgical experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in the intra‑operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
