Job summary

Incredible Health in Brockton, MA is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN). Shift options include day, night and mid shifts, with full-time, part-time and per diem schedules.

You will provide direct patient care before, during and after surgery, uphold aseptic technique, monitor vitals, and collaborate with physicians and staff. ADN or higher, active RN license, 1+ year OR experience preferred; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of OR or surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with aseptic and sterile techniques.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.
• Maintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating Room.
• Assist in intra-operative care by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care.
