Job summary

Incredible Health in Santa Monica, CA is hiring an Operating Room / Surgical Nurse (RN) to support surgical teams across CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, and other specialties. The role requires ADN or higher, active RN license, and 1+ year OR experience.

You will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery, maintain aseptic technique, monitor vitals, and educate families on procedures. Shift options include day and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem opportunities.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year OR/surgical setting experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Aseptic and sterile technique proficiency.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain aseptic and safe environment in the OR.
• Assist in intra-operative nursing and technical duties.
• Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters during surgery.
• Communicate with patients and families about procedures and postoperative care.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: CVOR, Circulate, Neuro, On-call required, Open heart, Ortho, PACU experience, Pediatric, RNFA, Robotic surgery, Scrub, Transplant, or Vascular.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assigned
• Monitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgery
• Communicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative care
