Lake Charles Memorial Health System is seeking an Operating Room Assistant to maintain sterile, clean environments and support the surgical team. You will assist with cleaning, biohazard waste handling, linen distribution, and routine transports to support patient safety.

The role may involve assisting in the OR with limited patient care under RN supervision, including moving or repositioning patients and aiding the Circulator as needed. A High School Diploma or GED is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hospital cleaning protocols preferred.
• Familiarity with biohazard waste handling and infection control standards.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain cleanliness of operating rooms and surrounding areas.
• Disinfect floors, walls and surfaces per schedule and infection control standards.
• Handle soiled linen and transport to laundry receptacle.
• Assist with patient movement and positioning under RN guidance.
• Assist with terminal cleaning and room turnover.
