Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Health-related education, experience, or certification.
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care providers.
• 1-year Operating Room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care by working with OR staff, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and hospital personnel.
• Perform surgical suite cleaning and troubleshooting; restock operating rooms and terminals.
• Position patients during surgery and assist with preparation and transportation of patients.
• Acquire surgical equipment before cases according to surgeon's preferences and case requirements; assist with setup of OR equipment.
• Assist anesthesia providers during patient procedures and with patient transfer/movement.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of clinical staff and plan for postoperative patient transport.
