Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Support Technician to assist the operating room team, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other hospital personnel.

You will help prepare and transport patients, set up and troubleshoot surgical equipment, and ensure a clean, safe environment for procedures. Minimum requirements include High School Diploma or GED and American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers; 1 year OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• 1 year operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Surgical suite cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Restocking of operating rooms and terminals.
• Patient positioning during surgery.
• Assisting with preparation and transportation of patients.
• Acquiring surgical equipment before cases per surgeon's preference.
• Assisting with setup of operating room equipment.
• Assisting anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Patient transfer and movement.
• Communicates effectively with all levels of clinical staff.
