Tufts Medicine seeks a surgical services clinical technologist to provide medical and clinical support during procedures. The role focuses on room turnover, setup, transport of patients, and supplying the OR with required specialty equipment for each case, including advanced cardiac surgery procedures.

Under supervision of OR leaders, you will ensure patient safety, maintain clean and organized procedural areas, manage inventory and supplies, assist in patient positioning, and respond to Vocera

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in operating room or surgical area preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assists in room turnover and setup; prepares OR tables and equipment for next case.
• Transports patients to and from the OR and coordinates with CPD for sterile items.
• Transports blood products and specimens to and from relevant departments.
• Assists in transferring patients from OR table to bed under guidance of clinical care team.
• Ensures safe positioning and securing of tables and attachments for procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of procedural areas; ensures no obstructions in gas/electrical panels.
