Job summary

Howard University Hospital is seeking a meticulous Perioperative Supply Technician to keep operating rooms stocked, sterile, and surgery-ready. You will order, inspect, and replenish sterile supplies and equipment, conduct audits, manage par levels, and coordinate with vendors to prevent delays in cases on the campus of the nation’s premier HBCU academic medical center.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, processing invoices, stocking supplies, and following aseptic storage

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining multiple inventories and stock levels.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic ordering systems.
• Strong numerical and data-entry skills; proficient with spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic and manual inventory of sterile supplies and equipment.
• Process orders and vendor invoices accurately and on time.
• Receive, unbox, stock, and replenish supplies across Perioperative Services storage areas.
