Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for operating room leadership at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The role emphasizes surgical and OR leadership responsibilities, collaboration with a cohesive leadership team, and utilization of OR-specific systems and processes.

The ideal candidate holds an NJ RN license, BLS, 3–5 years OR experience, and preferably a BSN with CNOR within one year.

Qualifications

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA BLS for Health Care Providers certification.
• 3–5 years operating room/surgical experience.
• Ability to work on a cohesive leadership team.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and delegation skills.
• OR experience with equipment, instruments and terminology.
• Computer systems knowledge for OR and materials management.
• Strong organizational skills and independent work capability.
• 2 years of surgical experience in a clinical specialty service line preferred.
• Leadership oversight preferred.
• Mentorship, education and training of staff nurses preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.
• CNOR within one year.
