RWJBarnabas Health's Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ seeks a Secretary Operating Room to support the Perioperative Support Services team. You will greet patients, schedule OR bookings, answer phones, and file patient information with care.

The role is day shift, full-time, and requires a High School diploma; familiarity with EPIC and healthcare terminology is preferred. This position offers competitive hourly pay and a full benefits package under RWJBarnabas Health.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer clerical experience in health care and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism, warmth, and courtesy.
• Answering phones professionally, recording messages and forwarding calls to appropriate parties and scheduling OR bookings.
• Filing patient information in a timely fashion.
