Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited business school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collects and files operative records into binders as part of the OR permanent record.
• Accurately prepares daily schedules with correct numbers for each surgical room and their personnel.
• Accurately prepares master board with patient send for slips, calls floors to determine if patients are ready for surgery, and requests for patients according to times scheduled.
• Promptly reports matters requiring immediate nursing intervention.
• Cooperative and professional interaction with patients, visitors, co-workers, nurses and physicians.
• Delivers requisitions, specimens, etc. to various departments accurately and in a timely fashion.
