Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate degree in business, Healthcare, or related field (preferred).
• Combination of post-secondary education and experience may be considered.
• Experience with data entry (preferred).
• Typing 45-50 WPM (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Gathers and interprets relatively complex patient data to schedule testing and procedures.
• Enters scheduling information into computer systems and updates patient data.
• Provides pre-registration instructions and coordinates with physician offices and departments.
• Works with departments to schedule stat patients and maintain scheduling records.
• Promotes strong customer focus and handles calls professionally.
