Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a registered nurse to join our team for night weekend shifts, providing professional nursing care and collaborating with the physician and healthcare team. Responsibilities include assessments, exams, treatments, patient education, and maintaining medical records.

We hire RNs based on experience levels (RN I to RN IV) and require Texas license with BLS; additional certifications may be required by unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
• License: Current State of Texas RN license (or temporary/compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care per the patient’s needs and unit standards.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver care.
• Performs nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatments, educates patients, and maintains medical records.
• Coordinates discharge/transfer planning and participates in program evaluations and process improvements.
