Job summary

Qualifications

• RN levels matched to years of experience (I <1 year; II 1-3 years; III 3-10 years; IV 10+ years).
• Strong clinical nursing skills across assessments, exams, treatments and patient education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred; Texas license or temporary/compact license required.
• BLS certification required; additional unit-specific certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, appropriate nursing care aligned with age and patient needs.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver nursing care.
• Directs and delegates to healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Coordinates discharge and transfer planning.
• Participates in program evaluation and process improvement.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and Memorial Hermann standards.
• Pursues ongoing education and skill competency; may serve as preceptor or mentor.
• Provides compassionate, personalized experiences to patients and families.
• Adheres to budget, time management, supply management and quality standards.
