Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This full-time weekend position covers Friday through Sunday with a $6.00/hr weekend differential.

As part of Orlando Health, you will join a team recognized for patient-centered care and commitment to excellence. The OR RN administers high-acuity care in a fast-paced surgical setting, ensuring safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department.
• Maintains current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Utilizes information to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Monitors and adjusts equipment and interprets cardiac rhythms.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Documents patient care meeting regulatory standards.

Education

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
