Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Clermont, FL. This full-time weekend shift role supports a high-acuity OR environment with day shifts on weekends and a $6.00/hr weekend differential.

The OR RN administers patient care in an acute care setting, ensuring timely, intense, and complex care with a highly trained team. Experience in operating room nursing is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and unit/department

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies, high intensity interventions, and high-level continuous nursing vigilance.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Assesses patient’s needs and develops an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
