Job summary

Marymount Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic system, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.

Responsibilities include circulating functions, preparing the OR and instruments, and monitoring patient condition before, during, and after procedures. The role requires BLS and ACLS within 6 months and may involve day shifts with on-call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification through the AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• One year of RN experience or completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
