Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room as an OR Circulator. The role supports a dynamic surgical team with responsibilities across complex assessments, patient monitoring, and rapid response to emergencies.

The position requires a Florida RN license, BLS certification, and 1+ year of OR/Circulating experience, with eligibility for ACLS as needed. On-site, full-time with on-call duties and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN licensure or NLC.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• 1+ year RN experience with at least 6 months OR/Circulating experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced nursing knowledge to care for patients with complex assessments and high-intensity interventions.
• Utilizes assessment data to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Identifies information to take evidence-based, patient-focused action.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets cardiac monitors and other displays.
• Responds to life-saving situations according to nursing standards and protocols.
• Coordinates care and delegates tasks within the care team as appropriate.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
