Job summary

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is seeking a registered nurse to join our full-time, day-shift team. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and document care in the EMR. Work alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a supportive, faith-centered environment.

A two-year employment commitment is required, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus and $3,000 relocation assistance available to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal skill set, compassion and respect for patients and families.
Works independently, self-motivated, takes direction from physician and management.
Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer systems and sterilization policies.
Must be proficient in English.
Ability to communicate effectively and documentcare in EMR.

Responsibilities

Assess patient conditions and needs to develop individualized care plans.
Develop and implement care plans with the interdisciplinary team for continuous care.
Administer medications and treatments per prescribed protocols.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans for optimal outcomes.
Document patient care activities accurately in medical records.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
