Job summary

AdventHealth in Kissimmee, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to operate in the OR environment on a full-time day shift. Eligible clinicians may participate in a Clinical Ladder with salary increases based on experience and advancement criteria.

Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates. Requirements include an RN license, BLS certification, and RN OR circulating experience, with a possibility of Florida background screening per unit/state rules.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
BLS certification required.
RN Operating Room Circulating experience required.
Florida Level 2 background screening may apply.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and maintain effective communication.
Document patient information, care activities, interventions and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
