Qualifications

• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment.
• Registered Nurse certification required within 60 days.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide education on peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including intravenous therapy.
• Participate in surgical site verification.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver patient-centered care.
