Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role supports perioperative care, with a 4 10-hour shifts schedule and on-call requirements.

You will participate in a comprehensive perioperative residency for experienced nurses and contribute to high-quality patient care in a Level 1 trauma center. Candidates must complete an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license in the state, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• PeriOp 101 is a comprehensive five-month training program designed to prepare Registered Nurses for practice in the Operating Room setting. Candidates with at least one year of prior nursing experience are strongly preferred.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
