Job summary

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center's Operating Room is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role includes 4)10-hour shifts with on-call requirements and a pathway through PeriOp 101 for experienced nurses.

You will deliver patient-centered perioperative care, participate in evidence-based practice, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and optimal outcomes in a Level 1 trauma center setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• PeriOp 101 training program; strong preference for candidates with at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in the Operating Room using nursing process and established standards.
• Lead clinical decision making and communicate effectively to create a safe patient environment and high-quality care.
