Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop care plans with patients and designated care partners, addressing physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs in a culturally sensitive manner.

Formación

• Specialized Diploma graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Patient- and Family-Centered Practice knowledge and collaboration with patients and families.
• Cultural awareness of diverse backgrounds and respectful care.
• Effective communication to transmit, receive, and interpret information with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Medication administration and prescription knowledge for continuing treatment.
• Discharge planning knowledge and arranging follow-up care.
• Health information documentation and accurate medical record-keeping.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
• RN license active in the state of practice (Pennsylvania).

Responsabilidades

• Interacts with patients, families, co-workers and staff in alignment with Jefferson Health values to deliver optimal care.
• Partners with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Utilizes information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, monitor care outcomes and support improvements.
• Works within nursing and inter-professional teams with open communication and shared decision-making.
• Participates in safety and quality improvement committees and adapts practice based on feedback.
• Acts as a primary preceptor for appropriate staff members.
