Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking an Operating Room RN to support General, Trauma, GYN and Plastics in a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

The role involves assessment, planning, and direct perioperative care with on-call rotations, day shifts, and weekend/holiday coverage. Prior OR circulating experience and Periop 101 are preferred, with opportunities to contribute to a high-performing surgical team.

Qualifications

• Must possess current RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Preferred OR circulating experience and Perioperative training (Periop 101).
• On-call availability and willingness to rotate weekend/holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan perioperative nursing care.
• Implement and coordinate care with the surgical team.
• Document care and ensure accurate communication across shifts and departments.
• Provide post-anesthesia care as required and participate in patient/family education.
