Emory Healthcare is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a full-time position with operating room responsibilities from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call is required.

The RN Clinician will apply the AACN Synergy Model to patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires a BSN with 12 months of recent nursing experience or ADN with at least 2 years of experience, along with current GA RN licensure and BLS; ACLS may be required in certain departments.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited prelicensure BSN with 12 months of nursing experience in the past five years, OR recent RN re-entry program.
• Graduate of an accredited prelicensure ADN with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in the past five years.
• LPNs within the Emory Healthcare system who complete RN program and obtain RN licensure may transition into the RN Clinician role while in RN Resident Program.
• Emory LPNs enrolled in an ADN program as of 3/30/2025 must sign an obligation to complete ADN-to-BSN within two years.
• Active multistate license (eNLC) within 60 days of hire for virtual care activities; prior to renewal date if needed.
• WOC Nursing certification within 12 months if assigned to Wound Care Dept.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Documents care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Identifies patient and family learning needs and provides resources.
• Works with the interdisciplinary team and family care partners; supports Charge Nurse duties when assigned.
• Assists in orienting staff and students in the absence of a preceptor.
• Participates in quality improvement and professional development initiatives.
