Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Minnesota RN license required.
• Minimum one year of operating room experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for adult patients in the OR.
• Assist with prepping and advancing surgical procedures.
• Verify patient identity, procedure, site and laterality.
• Maintain sterile fields and aseptic technique throughout cases.
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with the health care team.
• Participate in ongoing quality and safety initiatives in the OR.
