Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care across the nursing process in the designated clinical area. This role collaborates with the health care team to improve quality and outcomes, and supports orientation and daily operations.

The position requires a BSN or ASN with RN license (Virginia or reciprocal state), BLS, and at least 1 year OR RN experience or perioperative preceptorship entry.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and has experience as a Registered Nurse.
• BSN or ASN degree required and RN license valid in Virginia or reciprocal compact state.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire.

Aufgaben

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Coordinate patient/family involvement and discharge planning.
• Communicate the plan of care to health team members.
• Participate in improving patient care services and quality improvement activities.
• Orient new staff and participate in committees for policy development.
• Perform daily operational activities to ensure a safe patient/staff environment.
