The Level II Competent Registered Nurse at Mary Washington Healthcare provides direct patient care using the nursing process and collaborates with the healthcare team to improve outcomes in the designated unit.

The role requires functioning as a professional nurse with accountability for comprehensive, patient-centered care, and participation in orientation, policy alignment, and performance improvement initiatives. BSN preferred; Virginia RN license required; BLS CPR at hire.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and has experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Valid RN License from Virginia or reciprocal compact state required.
• BSN is preferred.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire

Mansioni

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process and interdisciplinary teamwork to achieve patient outcomes.
• Coordinate involvement of patient, family and health team members in care, including discharge planning.
• Communicate and coordinate the plan of care and information with health care team members.
• Participate in improvement of patient care services and performance improvement activities.
• Participate in orientation of new staff and serve as point of contact on policies.
