Harris Health System in Houston seeks a Nurse Clinician II (NCII) to deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and HCHD Nursing Service standards. The NCII will independently manage patients with common problems in the assigned clinical area and will seek assistance when needed, using available resources.

The role requires a Nursing degree, Texas RN license, and BLS certification; bilingual abilities are preferred, with a schedule that may include

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Diploma in Nursing; graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program.
• One year full-time RN experience or GN program completion.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Strong communication, writing, and public speaking abilities.
• Proficiency in mathematics and medical terminology.
