Harris Health in Houston seeks a Nurse Clinician II (NCII) to provide expert nursing care in alignment with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and Harris County’s Nursing Service standards.

The NCII independently manages common patient problems, recognizes when to seek assistance, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team across clinics and hospitals. A BSN preferred or diploma with TX RN licensure is needed, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Diploma in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
• RN licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
• Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program.
• One year full-time RN experience or completion of GN program.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage patients with common problems in assigned clinical area.
• Recognize when to seek assistance and utilize available resources.
• Collaborate with the care team and physicians across units and clinics.
• Support weekends, holidays, and on-call scheduling.
