Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• BSN degree from accredited institution; required as of 04/27/2025 update.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• RNs with <12 months experience must obtain BSN within 4 years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using physical, social, and psychological status; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan and develop an individualized care plan with patient and family involvement.
• Implement care through delegation and coordination, managing time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient responses and revise plans as needed; ensure patient and family satisfaction.
• Promote professionalism, adhere to legal/ethical standards, and maintain accurate documentation.
