Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking a Circulation Nurse to join our Santa Fe OR team. This full-time, day-shift role offers a competitive compensation range and may include a Northern New Mexico differential.

You will provide direct patient care, coordinate with the healthcare team, administer medications, and participate in ongoing education and policy adherence. The position emphasizes safety, leadership, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• One year OR/Circulator experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient needs and responses.
• Coordinates patient care with the patient/family and healthcare team.
• Performs assessments and documents data per unit standards.
• Initiates and documents protocols and standards of care.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents accordingly.
• Identifies and addresses patient and family learning and discharge needs.
• Evaluates patient progress toward outcomes and documents it.
• Assists with emergency situations and delegates tasks to competent team members.
• Provides leadership in supervision of LPNs and non-licensed staff.
• Supports professional governance and models of care delivery.
