RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced RN for our Operating Room Float Pool in New Jersey. The role features a day shift, full-time schedule, and assignments across RWJBH sites with an average three-month duration per site.

You will provide patient assessments, evidence-based nursing care, and collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective care across multiple locations. Qualified candidates hold an active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 3 years in OR; CNOR is

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
• Minimum 3 years Operating Room experience in a hospital setting.
• CNOR is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred or to be completed within 5 years of hire.
• Proficient with EMR systems (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments and hands-on care.
• Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR for continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to drive coordinated care.
