Job summary

West Boca Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse for outpatient surgery. The role requires providing safe patient care in the operating environment, adhering to AORN standards, and supporting the surgical team.

Flexibility is required to cover on-call nights, weekends, and holidays. A valid RN license and BLS certification are mandatory, with ongoing competency assessments and commitment to high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; graduate of an approved operating room technician program.
• Must be licensed RN and hold American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Demonstrates yearly competencies specific to unit and ability to take call.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient care in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Perform routine scrub duties according to standards and department policies.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment and support ongoing performance improvement.
