Job summary

Concord Hospital in New Hampshire seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) at the RN 2 level to provide high-quality patient care within an inpatient specialty area. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a diverse patient population in a safe, therapeutic environment.

The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team under the direction of the Nurse Manager, ensuring adherence to specialty standards, policies, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse – New Hampshire Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops, evaluates and revises patient plans of care and nursing actions.
• Documents care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Teaches patients and families about the plan of care and discharge preparation.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
