Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license and active practice in Texas.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by unit policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective total nursing care.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Deliver care per safety standards, risk management, and infection control.
• Administer medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Fulfill HICS roles during emergencies or disasters.
