Job summary

Guthrie in Sayre, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional, comprehensive nursing care in an acute care environment. The RN will be accountable for delivering coordinated, safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients and families.

You will practice under the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards, engage in ongoing professional development, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and lead in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives within your unit.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in the State of Practice.
• BSN in Nursing preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS is unit dependent.
• PALS is unit dependent.
• Must be licensed RN with at least one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patients' care and update care plans.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care.
• Foster learning for patients, families, and staff.
• Aligns practice with safety and quality; use evidence to improve outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and leadership within the team.
• Plan and present educational programs.
• Other duties as needed in nursing unit.
