Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional, comprehensive nursing care in an acute care environment. You will deliver coordinated, safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families across the lifespan, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

This role emphasizes adherence to unit-specific onboarding and standards. Ideal candidates hold a current RN license in the state of employment, with a BSN preferred, and are prepared to maintain BLS;

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the state of employment.
• BSN in Nursing preferred; any agreed plan to obtain BSN remains in effect.
• Specialty certification is preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS is unit dependent.
• PALS is unit dependent.

Responsibilities

• Employs Nursing Professional Practice: assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; updates and coordinates plan of care.
• Advocates for ethical and holistic care, promoting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
• Facilitates learning for patients, families, and staff, including students.
• Aligns practice with safety and quality, using data and evidence to improve outcomes.
• Engages in ongoing professional development and acts as a leader in the practice setting.
• Performs other duties as assigned as necessary.
