Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to join a fast-paced surgical team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the OR, collaborating with interdisciplinary colleagues to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to licensure and BLS, a 36-hour weekly schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package including tuition reimbursement and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; BSN required as of last update.
• Previous promotions/hire prior to BSN update will follow prior requirements at that time.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the care team.
• Develop an individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement and education.
• Direct interdisciplinary team, delegate and coordinate care per plan and licensure.
• Evaluate outcomes, revise the care plan as needed and reassess changes.
• Promote professionalism, ethical practice, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance.
