Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to deliver high‑quality patient care from admission to discharge. You will assess patients, develop care plans, coordinate discharge planning and supervise others within your unit.

The role is full‑time, non‑exempt, 40 hours per week with day shift hours. A Massachusetts nursing license and BLS are required; ACLS is preferred or must be current. A signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• Preferred: BSN

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient's care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
