Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania. The role requires circulating and scrubbing experience with four 10-hour day shifts available.

Prior OR experience is necessary, with strong emphasis on patient- and family-centered care. Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team to provide safe, high-quality patient care, educating patients and families, and contributing to continuous quality

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma required from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred within 3 years of hire.
• Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, their families and staff to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Educates patients and families, addressing learning needs and priorities.
• Uses information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and monitor care outcomes.
