Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Salem, Oregon is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the operating room team. The RN will support intraoperative care, collaborate with the health care team, and ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care during procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and participating in quality assurance programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of RN experience in acute care or ambulatory care/clinic setting within the last five (5) years.
• 2 years of experience circulating in inpatient or ambulatory surgery setting within the past 5 years.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• RN License (Oregon) and Basic Life Support are required.

Responsibilities

• Participates with the health care team to deliver quality care in alignment with Kaiser Permanente’s mission, vision and values.
• Assists in the intra-operative phase and coordinates care with ASC professionals.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records (HIPAA).
• Maintains safety and documents nursing care per policy and procedure.
