Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates critical knowledge, skills, and judgement to care for patients requiring complex assessment and therapies.
• Utilizes information and assessment data to anticipate and respond to changing patient conditions.
• Identifies and prioritizes information to take immediate, evidence-based action.
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment and interprets electronic displays (e.g., intracranial pressures, cardiac rhythms).
• Responds to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol.
• Observes and assesses patients’ condition, calls Physician or takes emergency measures when needed.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans and evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Communicates and collaborates with medical staff and interdisciplinary team.
