Job summary

Valley Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator RN to join our team. This full-time role supports preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care across our multi-specialty ASC and 6 ORs.

We offer competitive benefits through Surgery Partners, including a $5,000 sign-on bonus and growth opportunities in ophthalmology, GI and other specialties in Illinois. Requires associate degree, IL RN license, BLS/PALS/ACLS and 2 years OR experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License - IL.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Two years of operating room circulating experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process in preop, intraop and postop phases.
• Assess and document patient health status and pain per policy.
• Coordinate communication to ensure continuity of care.
• Perform accurate surgical case counting and maintain aseptic technique.
• Support efficient turnover and respond to emergencies as needed.
